Where is The Forge Borge located?
The Forge Borge is a family-owned 3D printing studio in St. Petersburg, Florida, about 5 minutes south of downtown St Pete. We offer free local pickup and ship anywhere in the US.
Do you make custom 3D prints?
Yes. Describe what you want on our custom order page and our quote bot checks whether it fits our printer, estimates print time and filament, and gives you a price and lead time in about a minute. Pay online and the build starts.
How much does a custom 3D print cost?
Most small custom pieces run $12 to $40. Price depends on filament weight, printer hours, and any design time. Our minimum order is $12. Larger or complex jobs are reviewed by us before we quote.
How long does a custom order take?
Most custom prints are ready in 1 to 3 days after payment. Catalog items that are in stock are ready the same or next day for pickup. Shipping adds 2 to 5 business days.
What materials and colors do you print in?
We print in PLA for decor and PETG for parts that need more heat or impact resistance. Colors on hand are black, white, beige, sage green, and gray. Other colors can be ordered and add a day or two.
What printer do you use?
A Bambu Lab A1 with a 256 x 256 x 256 mm build volume. Pieces larger than that are printed in sections and joined.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Yes. Choose Local pickup at checkout. Pickup is free and about 5 minutes south of downtown St. Petersburg. We email you to set a time, and the exact address comes with that confirmation.
Do you ship?
Yes, anywhere in the US by USPS Ground Advantage. Shipping is $7.95, free on orders over $50.
Are your prints food safe?
No. FDM 3D prints have tiny layer gaps that can hold bacteria, so we do not sell them for food contact. They are great for planters, decor, organizers, and dry goods.
Can you print something I found on Thingiverse or Printables?
Usually, yes. Paste the link in the custom order form. We check the license and the file, then quote it. Files with a non-commercial license are printed as a service for your personal use.
Do you still sell on Facebook Marketplace?
Yes. Our Marketplace listings stay up for local buyers. Ordering here gets you the same prices, online payment, and the option to ship.
What is your return policy?
If a piece arrives broken or is not what we described, email us within 7 days with a photo and we will reprint it or refund you. Custom prints made to your specs are not returnable unless they are defective.
